AFL Masters WA is a community based brand of AFL that is played in every State and Territory of Australia. The modified structure of the game provides an opportunity to be healthy, active, promote fun and be mentally fit. AFL Masters WA host a charity golf day with the support of their members and sponsors. This successful event has raised $20,000 over the past three years and Mader look forward to participating in the golf day whilst helping AFL Masters achieve their donation goals for mental health charity Beyond Blue.
Mader is a sponsor for the 2019 Mackay Sugar Run For MI Life, a charity that inspires men to seek support through open communication about mental health. With runs taking place in Moranbah, Walkerston and Brisbane, 2019 proceeds will go to Grapevine Group - a locally founded grassroots volunteer group raising awareness for suicide prevention in the Mackay region. Since 2014, this event has raised over $150K and Mader look forward to helping Run For MI Life reach their 2019 target of $100K!
The Blokes Brekky is for men and women who want to know how to support their friends going through mental health issues. Guests will hear and learn from other-men who have experienced suicidal thoughts or depression, and how they’ve managed to survive and thrive. Mader commends the efforts of this worthy cause and are honored to be a part of the movement as a donor.

Running for over 20 years, this not for profit Campdraft & Rodeo event is held annually in the township of Pannawonica in the Pilbara, Western Australia. Attracting almost 3000 people to the town each year, this event is an opportunity to showcase local talent and bring business and national music artists into an otherwise quiet town of just 695 people.
This small Pilbara Rodeo club has approximately 25 members and is entirely run by club members and volunteers. Relying heavily on generous sponsors, such as Mader Group, to help keep community clinics, campdrafts and rodeos running for youth and adults alike.
A flagship event hosted by the Newman Enduro Club on a cattle station 42km south of Newman. Kicking off at the break of dawn, local junior and senior motorbike riders take race along station roads, single trail, riverbed and rocky outcrops. In 2018, Mader supported a team of riders for the first time, including Travis Lawrance, a loyal Mader employee of 10 years!
The Moranbah Rodeo, held in Moranbah Queensland is a highly popular community event, with event-goers in the thousands each year. The Rodeo brings together people from all over Australia and in 2019, Mader will have naming rights, aptly renaming the event ‘The Mader 2019 Moranbah Rodeo.’ Mader is proud to get involved in events that provide joy and excitement for communities.
A popular community event for families, the Boddington Lions Rodeo attracts locals and families from surrounding areas. With close ties to the Boddington area, Mader was honoured to support local talent and bring business into an otherwise quiet town.
Funded by Queensland Sport and Recreation, the BMX QLD Inc. promotes BMX riding across metro and regional Queensland. Uniting 33 clubs from the Gold Coast to Weipa, this sponsorship helps to bring together budding sporting champions across the state. Dating back to before the World Wars, Eisteddfod’s have a long history in Mackay. The post-war 1947 Mackay Eisteddfod was the first to hit the region and they have been an enduring tradition since. Fundraising for the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research, Mader pulled together teams of up to 20 riders for 2016 - 2019. This golf event attracts 25-professional golfers to the Karratha Golf Club, bringing together professional and amateur golfers for an exceptional day. Mader is supporting Kelvin Woods and Russell Clayton, who together make, Thunderbox. For over six years, the pair have participated in the Shitbox Rally to raise funds for the Cancer Council. In May 2019, Thunderbox drove from Perth to Sydney via Uluru in a 1966 Humber purchased for $500. Shitbox Rally is not a race, rather a challenge to achieve the unthinkable… To drive cars worth just $1,000 across Australia via some of its most formidable roads, all in the name of charity. The Thunderbox has raised over $50,000 since 2013.

Raising vital funds for Cancer Council research and support services, this event is an opportunity to honour all those affected by cancer and remember loved ones lost.
Mader Group recently hosted a team building event challenging employees to a series of competitions to forge effective communication and encourage teamwork. Ending with a bike assembly challenge, the group was greeted with the arrival of three children and a Heart Kids Foundation representative. To our employees' surprise, the bikes were donated to Zara, Dylan and Matthew - three inspirational warriors who had been through open heart surgery. Competitive banter and team building challenges suddenly felt very small as the kids took their bikes for a spin for the first time.
As the mining sector continues to ramp up and demand for specialist skills increases, both private and public organisations are realising the vital importance of equipping our youth with the knowledge and skills to fill occupational gaps. Mader is supporting our industry’s superstars of tomorrow through a donation of 3 diesel engines to Thornlie Tafe. Initiated and coordinated by Mader's Perth workshop, the donation will assist in training Perth's youth through a Heavy Duty Mechanic Apprentice Program.
Mader believes participating in corporate volunteer initiatives to help staff establish a sense of purpose critical to maintaining a fulfilled, engaged and productive workforce, whilst also strengthening ties and making a valuable difference in the community.
Every child is deserving of a good education, however, this is often beyond reach in many developing countries. Each Ronald McDonald House relies on a large team of volunteers every day to help families of seriously ill children across Australia. Mader has joined this mission by taking part in the Perth Home for Dinner Program. Welcoming families with a smile, a team of Mader employees will band together to cook a homemade dinner for those staying at Ronald McDonald House. After a long day by their child's hospital bed, a warm meal helps to ease the burden of their difficult journey.
Mader Group was privileged to join the Gillette College for their annual skills competition in Wyoming. Supported by some of the biggest players in the industry, this event showcases our next generation of tradespeople and serves an annual backdrop to see them in action. Students were tested on a range of mechanical knowledge including diagnosis, hydraulics, basic measuring, and component breakdown and rebuilds. Mader was proud to award the first prize high school and college winners with Milwaukee Tool North America 1/2 rattle gun kits and the rest of the students got a chance to explore the Mader trucks and gear throughout the event.
